Wild Spirit Native Plants
Wild Spirit Native Plants is a small nursery growing only straight species native plants. They do not grow any cultivars or nativars, and only grow plants native to Maryland's piedmont and mountain regions. Their plants are grown from seed only, no cuttings or divisions, to maintain genetic diversity. Wild Spirit Native Plants is an open-grow nursery, meaning that the plants are not grown in a greenhouse. This results in strong, healthy plants that are in-tune with the seasons and less susceptible to greenhouse pests and diseases. T They grow plants in a peat, perlite, and vermiculite free organic mix. They use organic and sustainable growing methods and of course, no neonicotinoids. The nursery is not open to the public.
